Cleo Spiro started out making short films with her friends after school as a hobby. The more films she made the more this hobby grew into a passion. Since school didn't offer any film related classes, her skills were self-taught and developed with every new film she made or helped make and took every learning opportunity that came her way. 
She possesses a certificate from the European Film College in Denmark where she attended a one year intensive film course, improving and experimenting with her writing, directing, and acting skills. She was given the privilege to attend lectures from various renowned professionals from the industry, such as Jan Harlan and Fabian Wagner. 
She earned her Bachelor's in Film Production with first class honours at the Catalyst Film school in Berlin.
She continues to expose herself to professionals and their expertise as well as further actively develop her filmmaking skills on set and in post as well as in front of the camera.
She enjoys and specialises in directing, producing and production managing, screen writing, and video editing.
